Meet the Wizu Crew – Maisie!

We’re here with another instalment of our Meet the Team series!

But today we’re switching it up a bit – an introduction to a staff member who has been with us for a year, and has earned a well deserved promotion!

Today, meet Maisie! Our Multi-Site Member Host for 32 Park Cross Street & Park Place, and our now our promoted Community Associate for our newest Leeds building, 55 St Paul’s.

Get to know a bit about her below, and what she’s looking forward to in her new building.

What’s your role at Wizu and how long have you been with the team?

My role is Community Associate. I have recently been promoted from the Multisite member host role. I have been with Wizu for just under 1 year!

How are you feeling about your promotion?

I’m really looking forward to getting stuck in, and meeting all the new members.

What’s your favourite thing about the new St Paul’s design?

My favourite thing about the new design… The huge windows! 

What member events are you thinking about putting on?

I draw inspiration from all the other sites, so I’m looking forward to what they inspire me to do (not copying i promise 😉 ). 

How have you found being part of the team so far? Any notable funny or memorable moments?

I love being a part of the Wizu team- no day is ever the same. My funniest memory has to be last year’s Christmas party… I will say no more!

What have you enjoyed the most in your role so far? 

The most enjoyable part of my role here is the people- the members and the people I work alongside.

Describe your role in three emojis

What’s your favourite thing about the area where you’re located? 

I love Park Square and the countless coffee shops. Oh, and the endless opportunities to spend far too much money in the shops on my lunch break.

If you could trade jobs with anyone else on the team for a day, who would it be, and why? 

If I could trade jobs with anyone, it would absolutely be Lucy- the marketing queen! She gets to tour the Wizu sites and gets to experience all the member events.

Describe your work style in terms of a fictional character’s wardrobe. 

I strive for office Barbie- however, I don’t always hit the mark…

What’s your go-to karaoke song (even if it’s a guilty pleasure)?

This is a hard one, but my all-time favourite is Club Tropicana by Wham!

What’s your secret talent or party trick that always impresses people?

I am the undefeated Uno reigning champion in my household!
