Royal Armouries – Leeds

Take a walk through 5 floors of British History consisting of arms and armour from around the world and through time in themed displays and galleries. You can also see them in action in live displays in the tiltyard. It’s a treat for all the family and can help the kids brush up on their history before heading back to school! Iraid Tooms is a local treasure hunter and is on the hunt for buried gold in Leeds. He has uncovered a long-lost map and wants your help to find lots of clues to where the hidden treasure is. Explore all sorts of historic Leeds sights such as Granary Wharf. You will spot the clues across the town on statues, sculptures and plaques. The trail is 1.2 miles long and takes around 1.5 hours to complete. The clues and directions are designed with your children in mind, ensuring a fantastic family day out!
