Sheffield was voted the best UK city to start a business in 2019, but it’s still extremely hard to find business premises at affordable rates and we can’t be having that.
At Wizu, our aim is to create a great working environment which acts as a catalyst for local enterprise and which is a place for our members to thrive.
Recognising the issue in Sheffield, we decided to hunt down the ideal location to create a space where members could feel part of a community that networks, innovates, collaborates and supports each other.
That’s when we were introduced to 32 Eyre Street.
Ideally situated at the foot of The Moor and with easy access to public transport and ample parking, 32 Eyre Street is the perfect location for a Wizu community to form.
Formerly known as Deacon House, 32 Eyre Street caught our attention back in 2018 due to its ideal location and potential to become a thriving hub for business.
Now, the prominent city-centre landmark which has been vacant for over ten years, is currently undergoing a multi-million-pound transformation to provide a beautifully designed, iconic workspace comprising private office suites, co-working spaces and meeting rooms across three floors.
Our 16,000 sq ft of space on two floors will allow us to support co-working, hot desk requirements, 1-2 person offices, right the way through to 40 plus office requirements.
Why? Because we pride ourselves on being able to support businesses and entrepreneurs at every stage of their growth and we love witnessing their progression take place at Wizu.
As well as uniquely styled and quality workspace, 32 Eyre Street will be equipped with showers, a community dining area and event space, all of which have been designed to reflect Sheffield’s heritage.
