Sales Executive (Meetings and Events) – Leeds

We are looking for a talented and passionate Sales Executive (Meetings & Events) to join our team on a permanent basis to help with our growing business.

Job Title Sales Executive (Meetings & Events)
Reporting to Meetings & Events Sales Coordinator
Purpose To manage incoming meeting room and events leads across Wizu centres and convert to booking, in order to build revenue for the business. Nurture broker relationships in order to increase inbound lead volume
Starting Salary £22,000 (OTE £25,000)
Working Hours Full time, 08:30-17:30, Monday-Friday, 40 hours a week

Key responsibilities Specific Tasks
Sales & Marketing
  • Achieve consistent conversion rates in line with the department KPIs
  • Hold engaging phone and email conversations in order to schedule bookings
  • Process new leads effectively using the CRM, in line with the Sales process to ensure leads are accepted/rejected in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of Wizu, our centres, availability, products and services in order to provide a ‘solution sales’ experience
  • Conduct a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in line with agreed performance targets
Relationships
  • Build positive relationships with broker and channel partners in order to increase lead volume
  • Update brokers with availability, pricing and offers on a regular basis
  • Be quick to respond to brokers and prospects to give the best possible chance of winning the business
  • Conduct extensive research of the prospect through social media platforms and search engines in order to properly qualify the lead and prepare for the conversation
Administration
  • Diarising call backs and managing tasks on time
  • Keep the CRM updated at all times, with clear notes following conversations
  • Provide reporting on leads, bookings and cancellations when requested
  • Keep a close eye on broker listings to ensure Wizu is presented accurately and in the best light
  • Adhoc duties as and when required
