Home – British

Starting off with a country that’s close to all our hearts, England. Home Restaurant is situated on Leeds Kirkgate, and is host to some spectacular British grub with a certainty of service with a smile.

One thing that we love about Home at Wizu, is the fact that their menu’s change month on month. This stops us from mulling over the menu for the 58th time to order the same thing over and over again. It encourages you to try new dishes like Salt-Aged Pork, Omelettes and Cauliflower Cannelloni, created by Master Chef Semi-Finalist Elizabeth Cottam and Michelin Star Chef Mark Owens.

When booking your table, tell them if you have any dietary requirements, they are more than happy to cater for a range of food intolerance’s and will happily help create a dish perfect for you.

Find Me: 16/17 Kirkgate, Leeds, LS1 6BY
Try Me: The Menu changes every month, but don’t be afraid to try something out of your comfort zone. Whatever you get, it will taste delicious.

Now, for us it is the dessert that makes or breaks a meal… their Crème Brulee is to die for! It is by far the best we have ever tasted. Nothing short of French perfection.

Lupe’s Cantina – Mexican

As huge Mexican food fans, when we discovered Lupe’s we were just gutted that we hadn’t found this little gem sooner. From start to finish, the team are so friendly and attentive. The food is very reasonably priced and absolutely mouth-watering, from the Cactus Salad and Salsa to the Enchiladas and Siete Mares. You will find yourself returning again and again just to try everything on the menu.

We also love the no-frills vibe. They don’t have an extravagant interior, but what they do have is an incredibly laid back décor and fits in perfectly with the atmosphere of the restaurant. Hands down a firm favourite of ours!
