For the early risers to the late-night party goers, Angelica is the place to be. Serving breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, they have everything you need at any time of the day! Whether you are going for a coffee and catch up with your boss, or a slap-up meal to impress potential clients Angelica’s certainly won’t disappoint. Located on the top floor of the Trinity shopping centre it’s the perfect place to grab your lunch whilst indulging in some payday shopping! Whenever Angelica is mentioned, I always picture Daisy Buchanan enjoying her afternoon lunch on the terrace whilst sipping on a martini. It’s that kind of place. Offering a range of menus throughout the day, we’re positive you’ll find something to tickle your taste buds!

9. Chaophraya:
Opening in 2004, Chaophraya has had a reputation for being one of the best Thai restaurants in Leeds. Having only recently tried this little gem, we can confirm this is correct! It’s the perfect spot for some exotic lunching with friends or colleagues. The lunch menu starts at a very reasonable £8.95 and includes delicacies such as sweetcorn cakes, Thai chicken nachos and Thai red prawn curry. You will not be disappointed with your visit to Chaophraya. To make your visit even more enjoyable, they offer special deals throughout the week including 2 courses for £11.95 on their lunch menu and if you fancy something a little different try one of their cocktail making classes.

8. Sesame
From a customised gourmet sandwich, or a healthy home made pasta bake this place is somewhere you HAVE to try! If you’re anything like us at Wizu you spend your weekdays making healthy choices, so you can have a guilt free binge on your weekends? If so, then Sesame is for you! Any sandwich or vegetable mix box can be customised exactly to your liking, which we find the easiest and yummiest way to get back into the swing of things after a weekend of junk food! The best part is Sesame also have a delivery menu, just in case you want some delicious food but you cant come away from your desk for too long! It is simply top-notch food served by top- notch people.

7. If – Coffee Bar:
We can often get wrapped up in the busy hustle & bustle of the working week but we all need somewhere to go unwind and If Coffee Bar is the perfect spot for just that. They offer delicious coffee and a range of homemade delights – perfect for a quiet lunch and re-charge before heading back to the office! You will find freshly made breakfast burritos and homemade granola to pesto chicken with cherry tomato sandwiches. They offer a range of coffee’s, soft drinks and have recently introduced cocktails to their menu (just in case your day hasn’t been the best ?) The best part is one of their delicious sandwiches, a coffee and a moment of pure bliss will only put you back a matter of £7.

6. Bulgogi Grill:
Bulgogi Grill provides the ultimate experience in Korean table-top BBQ dining. Simply pick from their range of marinated meats or seafood such as; duck, beef, pork and squid and cook exactly to your liking on the grill situated on your table, then wrap your meat in the rice and lettuce to ensure you get the authentic taste of Korean BBQ. We’re not sure if it’s the fun DIY cooking aspect, the taste of the food or the atmosphere of the restaurant that appeals to us the most, but whatever it is we’re sure we will be visiting Bulgogi time and time again. For a taste sensation and a one of a kind experience give Bulgogi a try!

5. Almost Famous:
If you’re anything like us at Wizu, you’ll be a sucker for a big fat juicy burger. Priding ourselves as official unofficial burger tasters, we can guarantee that this will be the best burger you have ever had (and we’ve tried a lot.) Almost Famous has no boundaries, they top your burgers with anything and everything. Bacon flavoured ketchup, tater tots, or mac and cheese, they have it all! They’re like the inventors of weird and wonderful burgers and WE LOVE IT! This restaurant will not disappoint. At around £20 per head it is the perfect location for a celebration, whether its celebrating a birthday or landing a massive client. Their cocktail menu is impressive too whether you fancy a ‘Bitch Juice’ or ‘Tiger Blood’ there’s something for everyone. Their combination of a fun laid back atmosphere & amazing food makes this place a MUST!

4. Hive:
Are you into your health and nutrition? Started a new diet? Or simply want some scrummy guilt free food? Hive have created a super healthy, super delicious range of pots, soups, salad, wraps and treats that are guaranteed to satisfy your energy needs to help you power through your working day. Situated just behind Leeds Station, its easily accessible and perfect if you’re grabbing something on the go. Admittedly, Hive can become slightly addictive… when we first discovered this little gem it was Hive for lunch 3 or 4 times a week and we think we’ve tried pretty much everything on the menu.

Great for: Casual meals, healthy food, laid back atmosphere, friendly staff
Must try: Chicken and Chorizo pot (lunch)

3. Fazenda:
Fazenda isn’t a place for the faint hearted, it’s definitely for the foodies out there. Can you really think of anything better than an unlimited about of 7 prime cuts of meat, as well as 6 delicious fish, veggie and vegan options being regularly delivered to your table and carved right in front of you? No we can’t either!!
Their lunch menu comes in at £18.50 on weekdays excluding sides and drinks, it’s not the cheapest on this list but the food really is worth them extra few pounds. Just a little tip from us – remember to wear your baggy jumper to hide your food baby and good luck with the meat sweats! ?

2. Wolf: Italian Street Food
Well, we simply cannot fault this place. Not only is the food one of the most delicious the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is amazing. If you’re a Wolf Newbie, the friendly staff will guide you through your options and freshly make your order in front of you. Their menu consists of wraps, pasta boxes, pizza’s, salads and fine Italian coffee. With Wolf, you can choose to either dine in and experience the atmosphere first hand, or you can take your food back to the comfort of your own office. Wolf has become a firm favourite with everyone at Wizu Workspace! A meal with a drink will usually set you back no more than £10.

1. Falafel Guys
Falafel Guys are one of the newer kids on the block and boy have they impressed! You just can’t beat a Falafel Guys as a Friday treat. The cheeky chaps offer the best middle-eastern Arabic bread wraps and salads for you to take away. You can fully customise your order, adding multiple fillings consisting of falafel (obviously), chicken, halloumi, salad and sauces, as well as adding sides and a drink to your order all for under £10. They also offer both gluten free and vegan options. They normally have a queue a few people deep, but not to worry! Their fast, friendly service will have you served in a matter of minutes.

Must try: Falafel and chicken shawerma wrap with hummus and their famous tahine sauce (ask for an extra spritz of tahine sauce, its just soooo good!)
